Rocío Díaz Pereira is an industrial engineer and director of La Lonja de la Innovación at the Port Authority of Huelva, a platform from which she drives applied open innovation to turn real challenges in the port-industrial environment into pilots and executed projects. She works by connecting start-ups, corporates, universities, public administration and investment to accelerate solutions in Smart Ports, sustainability and the blue economy, with a focus on technology adoption and measurable results. Since 2022, she has contributed to consolidating in Huelva an innovation ecosystem with traction beyond the port sphere, promoting operational digitalisation initiatives.
