Manuel Ibañez

Manuel Ibáñez is a member of Austral Ventures, an Andalusian venture capital management company that invests through different vehicles in renewable energies, SMEs and innovative start-ups. They focus on companies in early stages, and although they are agnostic as regards their investment thesis, they invest mainly in knowledge-based companies and university research teams that have brought their innovation to the market.​ ​ He combines his work as an investor with advising corporates in the search for innovation and writes in his RocketCarrot newsletter. He was selected by Forbes as one of the leaders in the financial industry in Spain in 2025.
