Luis Pérez

Born in Minas de Riotinto (Huelva, 1975), Luis Pérez Díaz holds a law degree from the University of Huelva. He is certified as an Expert in Management and Creation of Technology-Based Companies (EOI) and as an Expert in Innovation Management (San Telmo International Institute). After working in the private sector, Luis Pérez has spent most of his professional career at Sevilla TechPark, Seville’s technology park, where he was hired in 2003 to create a specific division for new business projects. Until his appointment as CEO in April 2019, he served as Director of Innovation and Projects at this organization, which operates under the Regional Ministry of Universities, Research, and Innovation of the Andalusian Regional Government. Pérez Díaz has extensive experience in managing R&D&I projects, as well as in public and private financing for technology-based innovative companies (EIBT). The CEO of Sevilla TechPark also has extensive experience advising on the creation and development of science and technology parks, both nationally and internationally.
