A computer engineer from the University of Seville and a Master’s graduate of the Universitat Politècnica de Barcelona, he has built his career across start-ups and venture capital firms in Barcelona, Berlin, Paris and Madrid, and is currently based in Malaga. Juanjo is CTO at K Fund, one of Spain’s largest and most recognised venture capital (VC) funds investing in start-ups, and is also an active business angel. He is also co-founder and former CTO of Homa Games, one of the world’s leading companies in mobile games publishing, user acquisition and monetisation, helping developers turn their games into global successes. He previously co-founded and served as CTO of BidMotion, a company focused on promoting apps on mobile devices; initially conceived as an intelligent ad-management technology platform, it later expanded into broader ad tech and mobile marketing, operating at global scale.
