Jouko Ahvenainen is a serial entrepreneur, startup investor, and executive chairman who builds companies at the intersection of technology, data, finance, and regulation. He started his first business at 16 and has since founded several companies in areas such as social network analytics, equity funding platforms, AI, and external intelligence systems, while also investing in startups; today with more than ten companies in his portfolio. Jouko works hands-on with product development, technical teams, international expansion, and early customer acquisition, and has led companies with up to $40M in annual revenue. He has lived and worked across Europe, North America, and Asia and holds degrees from Aalto University, University of Texas at Austin (McCombs), and University of Helsinki. He regularly speaks about technology, entrepreneurship, and geopolitics at events including Mobile World Congress, SXSW, and the Global Peter Drucker Forum.
