He was born in Valencia. He graduated from the General Military Academy as an Artillery Lieutenant in 1987 and obtained the General Staff diploma in 2000. Throughout his 38 years of service, his military assignments have been mainly related to Artillery units, notably commanding the Field Artillery Group No. XI and the Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment No. 73. He has also served in General Staff positions at various national and multinational headquarters, as well as at the General Staff of the Spanish Army (EME). He currently commands the Digital Transformation Section, part of the Plans Division of the Army General Staff, a role he has held for the past five years. He holds diplomas in General Staff and Geodesy, a degree in Physics, and a Master’s in Information and Communication Technologies. He has completed numerous national and international courses related to operations, intelligence, logistics, targeting, information operations, fire support, and missile systems. He has participated in multiple peacekeeping missions, including deployments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Lebanon, among others.
