José Antonio Cobano

José Antonio Cobano is an Associate Professor at Pablo de Olavide University in Spain. He obtained his PhD from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2007, in the Department of Systems Engineering and Automation. He is a member of the Service Robotics Lab at Pablo de Olavide University in Seville. He is the author or co-author of more than 60 publications. He has participated in research projects funded through competitive calls, including European, national and regional projects. He has also taken part in 11 research contracts with companies and public institutions. His research lines are related to missions involving multiple unmanned aerial vehicles and mobile robots, focusing on path planning, trajectory generation and collision avoidance. All of this is aimed at applications in industry, factories and the construction sector for automation using robotic platforms.
