The Minister of Industry, Energy, and Mines, Jorge Paradela Gutiérrez, holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Seville and completed his training at INSEAD (Fontainebleau), Wharton (Philadelphia), PDMA (California), IESE, and the San Telmo International Institute. He has been Heineken's General Manager for Corporate Relations in Europe since 2000 and has held multiple positions at the multinational brewery: Director of Innovation, General Manager in the Canary Islands, Sales Director in Western Andalusia, Director of Commercial Operations, Director of Corporate Relations in Spain and, since 2018, Director of Corporate Relations for Europe, as well as president of the Cruzcampo Foundation from April 2015 to December 2020. Since June 2021, he has been general manager of Sevilla FC. He is also a founding member of Multinacionales por Marca España and was president of the Corporate Social Responsibility Commission of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Andalusia and the first president of Dircom in the region. He is a trustee of the Seville Food Bank.
