Gataca
Irene Hernández is the founder and CEO of Gataca, a company pioneering the global infrastructure for ID Wallet-based digital identity. In a world where AI has made it trivially easy to clone a voice, fabricate a face, and impersonate anyone online, Irene is building the trust layer the internet has always lacked and now urgently needs. She holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, where she earned the Dean's Fellowship for outstanding academic achievement and future potential. Forbes named her one of its "21 Leaders of Change." Spain awarded her the national prize in Technology at the XI Premios MAS. She has advised multinational corporations on digital strategy for over 15 years, spoken at 30+ international conferences, and conducted research on decentralized architectures at MIT. Gataca today powers some of the most advanced digital identity deployments in Europe.
