Fernando Denis Ramírez

Fernando Denis is a cybersecurity professional with over 20 years of experience leading technical operations, strategic projects, and business growth in the sector. He began his career by founding his own company, which marked his entrepreneurial and value-creation-oriented profile from the outset. He is currently Regional Manager at Sofistic Cybersecurity (Cuatroochenta), where he leads regional strategy and the evolution of the product portfolio in Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence, promoting the adoption of advanced defence, intelligence and digital resilience solutions. Before heading up the business at Sofistic, he spent most of his professional career at Hispasec, a pioneering cybersecurity company in Spain. There, he took on high-level technical responsibilities, being in charge of the SOC and occupying various strategic roles within the organisation. For the last eight years of his career at Hispasec, he served as the company's CEO. He has also been actively involved in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, participating in cybersecurity initiatives and start-ups such as Koodous, a collaborative platform for analysing malware on Android with international reach. Fernando combines technical and business vision with a practical, results-oriented approach, articulating solutions that connect security, risk management and corporate objectives. He actively participates in industry conferences and events such as Rooted, BlackHat, UAD360 and BSides as a speaker or organiser, and shares his analysis and reflections on trends, threats and best practices on LinkedIn.
