Estrella Martín

Estrella Martín Martín is Director General of Entrepreneurship at Madrid City Council, within the Department of Economy, Innovation, and Finance, a position she has held since July 2023 after almost a decade as Deputy Director General of the same department under the Madrid Emprende brand. She holds a degree in Economics and Business Studies from the Complutense University of Madrid, belongs to the Senior Corps of Social Security Intervention and Accounting, and has developed a career spanning more than 30 years in economic and financial management and budgetary control in various public administrations. At Madrid Emprende, she promotes the network of business incubators, the One-Stop Shop for Entrepreneurship, and incubation and acceleration programs that have advised more than 260,000 entrepreneurs and supported thousands of startups, positioning Madrid as one of Spain's leading entrepreneurial ecosystems.
