Carlos Prieto

Carlos is, since 2018, Co-founder and CEO of Impact4C Investment & Advisory, a services firm dedicated to consulting, advisory, project promotion, training, mentoring, impact measurement, and investment in impact-driven initiatives—that is, projects whose business models aim to address social and environmental challenges. He is also a Business Angel and individual impact investor, with participation in more than 35 startups through direct investments and investment vehicles. He is an investor and board member of the Impact Angels Club (Spain’s first impact investing angel network), as well as an investor in First Drop VC (an impact-focused venture capital fund) and Pinama23, a startup investment fund. Carlos has over 8 years of experience as a lecturer, mentor, and collaborator in various business schools and entrepreneurship programs, including EADA, Loyola, UAX, Cámara de Comercio de Sevilla Business School, EUSA, The Valley, Telefónica Open Future, and Social Nest, specializing in impact-driven projects and Exponential Organizations (ExO). He brings 20 years of professional experience in the financial sector, leading teams of up to 10 people, with a background in consulting and financial controlling (Engloba Asesores y Consultores), corporate banking (Banesto, Deutsche Bank), and finance (Corporate Treasury Director at Abengoa). Since 2018, he has focused on impact investment and purpose-driven projects.
